16th DECEMBER 2019 ~ We were taken to this place called Karaweik Restaurant for our (late) lunch after all the pagoda-hopping session. Thank God for the halal eating place that our guide managed to find on his smart phone.
The Briyani was good especially when one was extremely hungry. The place was clean and we sat on the second floor which was air-conditioned. Many of the staff however did not speak English, except one young man.
Highly recommended if you are looking for halal food in Mandalay. We also found another branch of this restaurant at another spot in the city later in the evening.
