3RD MARCH 2024 ~ I traveled all the way to Kuala Lumpur this weekend to attend the wedding of the daughter of a TESL UPM Class of 1993 friend, Puan Janariah Othman. The event was held at Aireka Space, Empire Damansara.

We arrived at the hall as early as 10:00 a.m. Puan Hazlina Aziz was kind enough to give me a lift to the wedding venue, and this was not the first time though she chauffeured me. We were among the [hungry] early birds to occupy the seats in the hall.

There were altogether eight other TESL friends who were there during the solemnization ceremony, a few of them bringing their husbands and children along.

Another reunion of the members of UPM TESL Class of 1993 took place on the "pelamin" - a decorated stage for the bride and groom to sit, and the guests to observe.

After savouring all the available food on the dining table, we had to excuse ourselves at about 12:15 p.m.
Congratulations Puan Janariah Othman and husband on the addition of the new male member in the family. Hoping to get other invitations again in the future.
This should be the last wedding reception attended before the fasting month starts next week. This should be a good break for carbo, sugar and fat overloading for a month.
