18th JULY 2024 ~ The area around the mosque in a foreign country where Muslims are the minorities should be important for Muslim visitors. Other than finding a place to perform the prayers, there should always be halal restaurants and shops selling halal food products.
As expected, there were other halal eating outlets near Kobe Mosque area besides the Kobe Shawarma restaurant that we went to.
My ex-student wanted to get something from the grocery shop so I went in to follow him to see what was there inside.
It was a halal food haven for Muslims in Kobe. There was a variety of food products imported from many countries. One of the food items spotted that came from Malaysia was Ayam brand sardine.
So now you know where to get your food when you are visiting Kobe, just get your Yen currency ready.
