WALKING AWAY FROM JAGALCHI MARKET - PART TWO

23rd MARCH 2019 ~ If you are wondering why my post on my visit to and away from Jagalchi Market is never ending, it is because that is the way how the market it. I basically just walked along the street, observing people selling fish and other marine creatures on the left and right side of the small streets. I had no idea where I was going and where the roads would lead me to. It seemed to be just endless. I just could not move on, literally speaking. Never had I seen so much fish on sale in my entire life.

I think Jagalchi Market is connected to other street market, and then another, and another. This should be the longest market ever visited.

Then I came across this small port which I think where the fishermen's boats harboured.

Then, there was this market which did not sell fish. People here were selling mainly vegetables, so let's just call this place a vegetable market.

I finally reached the end of the walking street market and there was this arch with the name: Chungmu-dong Daybreak Market which should be the main entrance/exit.

Going to the market in Busan should be an awesome experience. If you read travel blogs, people just focused on Jagalchi Market but you should try seeing the market on the streets and you will never see the market at home the same again.

If I were to go back to Busan again, I would have to stay in an apartment where I could buy all the seafood, cook and it all.

MOVIE REVIEW - "AVENGERS: ENDGAME"

4th MAY 2019 ~ After all the Marvel superheroes movies before this, then one had no choice but to watch the concluding episode to all its prequels. Everybody got excited so I just had to jump on the bandwagon. Basically "Avengers" Endgame" was about the few superheroes who still remained after the previous "Infinity War" with Thanos. This time they had to time travel, get all the stones back and turn back the clock and SURPRISE!, everybody got back alive.

MBO KSL, the biggest poster we could find

In the end, a few heroes that I could recognize died like "Ironman" and "Black Widow" and "Captain America" was back to his original age and became very old. I just don't understand why people got really sad with the ending of the movie. I am sure there will be more Marvel films coming back soon to the cinema. However one thing I learned from Thor is: it is alright to grow old and ugly.

A CHESS COMPETITION IN CONJUNCTION WITH TEACHER'S DAY

1 MAY 2019 ~ Tanjung Puteri Chess Club organized an open chess competition in conjunction with Teacher's Day celebration. It was held at SMK Mohd. Khalid on a public holiday i.e. Labour's Day.

The response this time was encouraging. There were three categories which were primary and secondary schools, as well as for teachers.

Six students from SMK Dato Jaafar also took part in this competition.

Four of them managed to secure top 10 spots for medals.

Congratulations to all the committee members of Tanjung Puteri Chess Club for the first programme this year. We hope that there will be more potential chess players that could be identified from this activity and hopefully we will try to organize other event later.

The angklung members should be happy as they were invited to perform outside for the second time this year. After all the regular training, I really hope they will have more chance to do more performance this year.
