23rd MARCH 2019 ~ When I thought leaving Jagalchi Market would be the end of my experience seeing fish and all kinds of sea creatures, the sight was simply never-ending. As I walking away, there were more people selling more things by the road sides and it was endless.
I think Busan people really consume a lot of fish every day, just by looking at the big number of people selling inside and outside Jagalchi Market.
If you wonder why were there so many women running the business at the market area, it would go back to the history of Korea. During the Korean War a long time ago, the men had to go and serve the military. Consequently, the women had to take over the job at the market.

I wonder if the fish outside would be cheaper than the ones sold inside the main market building.
