A SURPRISE VISIT FROM AN OLD FRIEND

When an old friend who lived far away suddenly appeared in front of you, you had no choice but to get the surprise of your life. Puan Salmiah Ghazali [a friend of UPM TESL class of 1993] was on her spontaneous short train trip from Gemas to Johor Bahru, and back to Gemas, on the same day. She was accompanied by her eldest son on this trip and decided to stop by to visit me.

They could not stay long as they were going for lunch before catching their train back at 2:40. I was still in the state of shock, or else I could be accompanying them for lunch. Thanks Puan Salmiah and son [and the son's friend] for the visit on the second day of Eid ul-Adha, and hope to see you again some other time.
