18th DECEMBER 2022 ~ We finally assembled at Jen Hotel, Georgetown, for the wedding reception of the daughter of a UPM TESL class of 1993 friend, Puan Nurhanim Hassan. Majority of the group members who attended the event came mostly from Kuala Lumpur area, one from Kuantan and someone was actually from Stuttgart, Germany.
One table could only accommodate ten people so we had to be separated. That should in a way lessen the noise level produced during the event but we were still happy people.
Another excitement there was to be able to see old friends once again.
While waiting for the ceremony to start, we had already made ourselves at home and took as many photos as possible.

The reception started with the solemnization ceremony.
Food was immediately served after that.
Then there were a few speeches delivered and guests were invited to take photos with the bride and groom on the stage.
The whole group of aunties with the bride and groom, and the mother of the bride took photos before leaving.
It was a great wedding reception. The programme was short and sweet. The solemnization session was the highlight of it all, minus the not so important rituals. We were truly happy to attend the event and had a whale of a time. There should be many more receptions of TESL friends' children to go after this.
Thanks a lot Puan Nurhanim Hassan and husband for inviting and accepting us, and hopefully there will be other wedding receptions for us to attend in the future.
