MY HAT YAI GASTRONOMIC ADVENTURE - A LATE LUNCH AT CENTARA HOTEL CAFE


2ND DECEMBER 2019 ~ We quickly went out to find lunch as soon as we arrived at the hotel. At the same time, our other three friends who were taking the direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Hat Yai had not arrived yet. We just had simple breakfast from Penang in the morning and it was time to get our empty stomachs filled with food.

Puan Aishah Aboo Bakar had been in Hat Yai a few times before and she was familiar with this cafe located on the ground floor outside Centara Hotel








The cafe was quite full when we were there. This should be a good indication when one was looking for a good eating place.




I decided to try the mouth-watering fried banana, while my other travel mates chose to have flat bread with egg (and banana?) and fried chicken with rice.






The tea with milk was something I would be coming back for.


We could not hang around at the cafe for long as we had to welcome our other travel companions to Hat Yai once they arrived at the hotel. The late lunch (or tea) was a good start to our many more gastronomic adventures that was going to happen in Hat Yai.
