THE SECOND GATHERING WITH EX-COLLEAGUES OF SMK GELANG PATAH

  16TH NOVEMBER 2024   ~ The second gathering with ex-colleagues of SMK Gelang Patah was held at Spazio Restaurant in Plaza Angsana. These are the people whom I became fiends when I was first posted to the school in 1993 and left in 1994.

We taught in the same school just for about 2 years but we enjoyed our life working the rural area, even though most of us stayed far away from school.

We met at the same venue many months ago as they could decide of a place. I chose the same cafe as parking was not a problem, the toilets in the mall were clean and the surau [praying room for Muslims] was convenient. And the food at the cafe was also good.

It was really good to have a short chat session once in a while. We already planning to meet again soon, hopefully at a different place and with more people joining in.
