12th MARCH 2023 ~ It was time to play tourist in the city, going on a gastronomic adventure for lunch. An ex-student [of Asrama Semai Bakti FELDA] suggested IT Roo Cafe in Jalan Dhoby which should be a popular eating place and I agreed without any hesitation.
We arrived at about 2:00 p.m. and the restaurant was jam packed. Fortunately we managed to secure a table for two.
We had chicken chop which should be the signature dish of this place and Mee Hailam [TRANSLATE: "mee" = noodles]. Both were good for someone who doesn't really do food review and is not fussy about what he gets on the table.
Thanks Mr. Solihin for the company for lunch. The next meet could be either before or after the fasting month, with one more week plus to go before Ramadhan.
NOTE TO SELF: Do NOT come here on Sunday afternoon [or may be Saturday too] unless I want to get stuck in the bad traffic congestion and have a hard time finding a parking space. I never know this part of the city has become a very touristy spot like Penang.
