26TH FEBRUARY 2023 ~ We stopped by at Sabah State Mosque which was located in the city centre to perform our prayers.
The prayer hall on the ground floor was bigger than the main hall on the first floor, surprisingly.
One bad thing about designing the main prayer hall on a higher level would be making it troublesome for the elderly and people who are having issues with their feet/knees to go upstairs - unless there is an elevator. I didn't find one though or it might be hidden somewhere.
I would always spend more time in the mosque just to observe the beautiful architecture of the holy building.
We didn't do much mosque hopping during this road trip because of time constraint. That should be a valid reason to go back to Sabah again some other time.
