26th AUGUST 2023 ~ This was the mosque I went to every week to perform my Friday prayers for 3 months in Ipoh 30 years ago, when I was doing my practical teaching. I walked to the mosque from SMK ACS Methodist Ipoh in the afternoon, and went back to school to teach after that.
I chose to stay at the ground floor for the prayer.
I went to the first floor to look around after the prayer.
Sultan Idris Shah Mosque sure had changed a lot after the 30 long years but it sure brought back memories staying in Ipoh for 3 months.
