18TH NOVEMBER 2023 ~ After the first training session for the Johor Bahru teachers Chess Team [READ HERE], (suddenly) there was this district level tournament held with real medals. This time, the teachers assembled at SK Kampung Pasir on Friday morning to compete and be selected for Johor Bahru team for state level competition next month.
I, as expected, did not get any medal but the most important thing was that I had made a few new friends after the two sessions. We shall be meeting again soon either for a training session (if there is any) or the real competition.
