6th FEBRUARY 2019 ~ We spent quite some time at this place, from the moment the place looked deserted until the time there were many kids running around or enjoying their rides on the rented toy vehicles.

We managed to find the stairs up to one of the towers that looked like a light house to get a better view of the whole place. It was evident we were the only tourists around doing exploration.
We witnessed the beautiful sunset on the horizon far away and walked home to the hotel before it got dark.
If you are wondering why my solo photos are not posted here, someone actually thought he had clicked the camera button but there was no image found later when I checked.

The Coastal Area which was a reclaimed land on the sea was a multi billion Rupiah project, I supposed. Unfortunately, the place was not maintained accordingly and we could see the poor condition of many spots in the area. The authority has to do something about this as this place should be the best place for the locals and tourists to spend their leisure time on the island. Still, if you are in Tanjung Balai, you will have to be here, to at least enjoy the view of the sea.
