6th FEBRUARY 2019 ~ One of things you must do when visiting Tanjung Balai is to go to its recreational area at Coastal Area. There was this huge place where people hang around in the late afternoon with family members or friends.
We were told that Coastal Area was actually a reclaimed land. I wonder why did they have to do that as they still have a lot of unused and undeveloped land around.
We were there a bit too early so the place was still empty. So we just hang around waiting for the sun to go down, sitting and enjoying the view of the sea.
Not long after that, the place started to buzz with activities. People doing business started arriving to set up their stalls or arrange the items to be sold/rented in the open area.
This should be a good place for people with children to visit as there are many activities that could be done here.
