MY HOMETOWN GASTRONOMIC ADVENTURE - TIFFIN LUNCH AFTER SCHOOL

14TH NOVEMBER 2019 ~ Someone who paid a formal visit to school and I had to entertain her for lunch after that. Lucky enough that someone happened to a friend of mine so a lunch date was set with other husband and wife friends right after.

This time we had lunch which was specially served in tiffin containers in a restaurant at Puteri Pan Pacific Hotel. It was a decent meal of rice, two dishes of vegetables and meat/chicken each, plus dessert.

By the way, if you are not sure what tiffin is, it is actually food containers made mainly of tin and stacked on top of one another, usually in 3 or 4 tiers.

If you think this lunch was expensive because it was at Puteri Pan, then you are wrong. Surprisingly the price was very reasonable indeed, or I could say quite cheap for that kind of lunch variety. Thanks Puan Mazelina Mahmood for suggesting the tiffin lunch at this place, for a change, instead of all the usual eating places we have been to.
