26th OCTOBER 2019 ~ The plan after breakfast on the second day of Belitung Island was to go on an island hopping trip. We would be getting a boat to Lengkuas Island from Tanjung Kelayang which is located on the north side of the island. This place is the meeting point for people to get their boats for their island hopping and water activities and I could see the place was developed for tourism purposes. This should be the spot where the adventure was about the begin.
Tanjung Kelayang is also the place for beach goers, island hoppers and snorkelers stop to take shower, rinse off the salt water and sand and get into something clean and dry before leaving.
Unfortunately, when we reached the area, the weather was not that good that morning. It was expected to rain so it would not be a good idea to set sail. Therefore, there was a change in plan. We diverted to other spots first while waiting for the sky to clear. Guess the excitement at the islands and the beach would have to wait.
