28th OCTOBER 2019 ~ What would I do when I woke up in someone's house very early in the morning and there was nothing to be done? Went out and explore the surrounding!
The house of the Director of PT Steelindi Wahana Perkasa, a company managing the oil plantation in Belitung Island, is indeed a huge one which could accommodate a lot of people at one time. Located in Kelapa Kampit, Belitung Island, it was surrounded by palm oil trees (obviously). I was even more impressed when I toured around the place and found out more interesting things - the trees and the plants to be exact.
There were spots where vegetables were grown and that should be the source where the fresh food we ate came from.

There were avocado and papaya trees outside and we ate the fruits picked from here.

Other than that, there were also flowering plants around the compound.
When I opt out to retire earlier, I am going to have more edible plants around the house, like this house in Belitung Island.
