3 DAYS BEFORE THE ARRIVAL OF EID 1442H

Three more days before Eid arrives and more gift items from friends and an ex-student arrived at home. The first one was from a cookies hamper from my Chinese ex-colleagues/friends of SMK Mutiara Rini, delivered by other colleagues of the same school.

The second delivery was from an ex-student of SMK Taman Universiti, Ms. Nurul Izzah Abdul Rahman who was kind enough to send me layer cakes for the festive celebration.

The last item that arrived today was not cookies, cakes or chocolates but a pair of Baju Melayu [Malay traditional clothes] sent by Puan Sharon Taty Mokhtar, a friend of UPM TESL class of 1993, delivered to me before Eid.

And another two Eid cards to add, both from friends of UPM TESL class of 1993, Puan Hanna Sheikh Mokhtar and Puan Wan Aisyah Haris.

Even though it has already been announced that MCO [Movement Control Order] will be enforced during the day of Eid to combat the spread of C-19, the spirit of giving still lives on. Thanks a lot my friends and ex-student for your kind gestures, and I pray may we all always be in good health and safe from all harm.
