3rd May 2021 ~ The last time we met was 4 years ago in Medan, Indonesia, when I went there for holiday. [Read HERE and HERE]. My ex-classmate of SMS Muar, Mr. Ahmad Fadillah Md. Aris, who is currently working in Medan, is in Johor Bahru for a slightly longer break, visiting his mom before flying back to Penang to see his family this Thursday. This should be the best time to meet, and glad we managed to find a slot right after the Terawikh prayers [the prayers that are done at night during the fasting month] for "Teh Tarik" [milk tea] and "Murtabak" [flat bread filled with minced meat] at Kampung Melayu.
For sure, there was a lot talk about but we had to make our moves before the carriage turned back into a pumpkin. Being one of the few classmates I still meet once in a while, God willing, I hope we could see each other again some other time in the future.
