THE MORNING AT MUZIUM NEGARA - PART ONE

4TH NOVEMBER 2022 ~ I was back at Muzium Negara [TRANSLATE: the National Museum] and the last time I visited this place was in the early 90's. That time it was with a school trip so it was like a  touch-and-go kind of visit. I had longer houra to spend at the museum this time and I was glad I did it.

Muzium Negara was a small building with a few sections. As I entered, the first special exhibition was held at the centre hall that had something to do with 100 Years of HMS Cup. It displayed items which were related to the Malaya Cup Football Tournament which is now known as Piala Malaysa [TRANSLATE: Malaysia Cup].

The first permanent Exhibition Hall labelled as Gallery A was on the early history of the nation. It showcased the pre-historic era of the country which involved serious archeological work and historians believed there were early civilizations dated thousand of years ago.

It is interesting to know that excavation work was done in a few places and they managed to find some links to other ancient civilizations in the region.

TO BE CONTINUED....
