18th OCTOBER 2020 ~ On the same date last year, the same people went out for dinner and it was happening again this time [READ HERE]. It was like a deja vu except it was at a different venue. There were Puan Yusidah Md. Yusof, an ex-colleague of SMK Taman Universiti, Mr. Mohd. Amin Shamsuddin, an ex-student and another ex-student but I was already transferred out when she came to school (and I forgot her name). We met at this Adam Hawa Cafe right at the heart of Johor Bahru city.
We all decided to go western at this hipster cafe. The food was alright and I had nothing to complain except the music was a bit too loud so we had to shout to be heard.
This was also in a way to celebrate Mr. Mohd. Amin's belated birthday which was three days ago.
We couldn't hang out too long as the next day would be a working day for us teachers so we had to bid our goodbyes. Thanks people for the time and company, and I wonder if we will be meeting again next year on the same date.
