24th MARCH 2021 ~ Another farewell gathering was organized by Form 6 teachers [of SMK Dato' Jaafar] at the Trove after school this afternoon. The hi-tea session was to bid farewell to Mr. Mohd. Salleh Sairan and Tuan Haji Abd. Karim Masiran who will be transferred to their new schools when the school reopens in April. Another Form 6 teacher, Puan Juliah Hamid who went to another school last year was also invited to join the event.
There was still a session where the Principal and the three guests of honour were invited to say a few words and luckily everyone delivered a brief speech.
The food was good and I skipped dinner for the evening. How we have missed going our for hi-tea in hotels where we could eat as much as possible and spend long hours at the dining table with friends.
