I managed to get out of school during lunch hour [with the Principal's consent] to attend a wedding reception of a friend's sister and rushed back right after. The initial plan was to go right after school but there was a teacher's meeting at 2:00 p.m. so I had to opt for Plan B. Luckily the venue of the reception was in Taman D'Utama which was not that far away from my work place.
The main dish was already prepacked and was handed over to guests upon arrival - the new normal for a social gathering. Since there were other things to eat, I chose to get all the sweet food available and took the rice home instead.
Thanks to the bride's sister and brother in-law, Puan Mazzelina and Encik Mohd. Khir, who were playing hosts of the day, for the invitation and hospitality.
To the newlyweds, Puan Mastura Mahmood and Mr. Ahmad Jaafar, congratulations and may your years together be long and blissful.
