6TH SEPTEMBER 2022 ~ After the long hours of walking and the excitement watching the cultural show, it was time for the gastronomic adventure at Sarawak Cultural Village. We had bought the ticket which included the lunch package at the cafe.
QUESTION: Was the lunch package worth the price paid?
ANSWER: Yes! There were varieties of Sarawak local dishes that I had never eaten before served on the table.
We had to wait for quite some time for the food to arrive. That was all I had to complain.
An unexpected reunion with a friend of UPM TESL class of 1993 happened at the cafe. Puan Salinah Shariff was also there with her husband and daughter and she texted me when we were in the auditorium after seeing my check-in posr on Facebook. The last time we met would be almost 30 years ago before graduating from university.
All in all, the visit to the Cultural Village was great. All the traditional houses and their hosts, the cultural show and the scrumptious feast during lunch should complete all the good things I have to sat about this place.
