THE LATE LUNCH AT BUKIT BATU, KULAI

7TH JUNE 2024    ~ After the big breakfast at the oldest coffee shop at the railway station in Malaysia in Kluang [READ HERE], we traveled further to Bukit Batu, Kulai, for lunch.

The chosen restaurant was Nasi Ayam 3 Hari which specialized in Chicken Rice. This place should be popular and there was a short queue at the food counter when we arrived, most probably it was already past 3:00 p.m.

The drinks in the big containers were free of charge, believe it or not. They were not just the mixture of cordial, water, sugar and a lot of ice but the drinks were like honey dew and rock melon juice which was milky and tasty.

My two friends had Chicken Rice but I opted for Duck Rice instead. The only time I ate duck would be during my trip to Indonesia.

The Chicken Rice with one quarter part of chicken cost only RM12 (but I was not sure of the price for the duck as someone paid for it). I would not hesitate to say that this was the best Chicken Rice I had ever had so far.

I am glad my friends [of SMK Dato' Jaafar] took me here. Now I know one more place for good food near Johor Bahru, and I am looking forward to make a comeback one day.

ADMIRING PAINTINGS ON THE WALLS - PART TWO

spot the tower

27TH JUNE 2024     ~ Observing and admiring all the paintings on the walls was actually like walking in an art gallery - except this one is free of charge and in the open. These people were geniuses for being able to draw and colour on such a huge screen, and the products were masterpieces that were liked and loved by many.

If you are an Instagrammer or a TikToker, this place would sure be the one must visit spot in Kuantan. Your followers must love all the photos or videos taken here.

THE TWO MOSQUES VISITED IN KLUANG AND KULAI

7th JUNE 2024    ~ During our outing trip to Kluang, we had to stop twice at the mosques. The first one was Masjid Bandar Kluang [TRANSLATE: Kluang Town Mosque] for our Friday Prayer.

ablution area

There were not many people at the mosque that afternoon. I think the building was not located at a residential area. There were still many empty spaces before the start of the prayer.

There was also no traffic congestion on the road outside the mosque.

The next mosque was Masjid Firdaus in Kampung Ayer Manis, Kulai. We stopped for our Asar prayer, another day prayer for the Muslims. Located just by the road side, travelers could access the building easily.

It was just a small mosque for the Muslim community in the village.

It would be easier if I were to go back to these two districts next time as it would be important to have some ideas where I could stop for my prayers.
