24th MARCH 2019 ~ After walking for quite a distance, I finally reached Yeojwacheon Stream - the spot to observe sakura which should be in full bloom in a few more days to come.
after the tunnel, you will arrive at your destination |
From afar, I could see the pinkish sakura flowers in the air - a whole lot of them.
There was however a small stream of water in the river.
There were two pedestrian walkways on the right and left side of the stream. There were certain parts of the lanes which were congested with people, especially when they stopped to take photos.
People were even queuing up to get themselves photographed at special spots - like the giant shape of heart.
A few people were seen taking extra effort to go down to the stream which I think was prohibited. Guess the nationality of the tourists? ☺
The hanging stars were actually the lights that would be turned on at night which should create a spectacular view.
A lot more walking was done while admiring the breathtaking ambience created by the sakura. The stream was a long one, and with all the people walking from both directions, more time was needed to be spent here.
